Neidin is the Irish word for Kenmare and translates to Little Nest. A Little Nest is exactly what was envisaged in 1790 when The Lansdowne first opened its door.

A very stylish and comfortable B&B. The breakfasts were delicious. The little touch such as homemade biscuits in the afternoon were very welcome. Irma and her team were very friendly and helpful.

I traveled around Ireland for two weeks and stayed in several cities. Kenmare was one of my favorites for shopping, access to music, scenery and the BEST lodging and restaurant at Brooklane. Highly recommend both!

Kenmare was a lovely town and the alternative B & B we found was friendly and welcoming and provided a wonderful breakfast. We stayed at Davitts for the second two nights and ate there and it was great.
Lovely b&b just outside Kenmare overlooking the sea. Noreen and her sweet pup greeted us on our arrival. She assisted us in finding the local launderettes in town, as well as a couple options for dinner on a Monday evening. Clean, comfortable room. Breakfast was delicious and filled us nicely as we headed out to the Killarney National Forest and on to Dingle and Tralee. Highly recommend if you’d like a less touristy and quieter stay than Killarney.
Wonderful staff and the unit was very clean and spacious. Really spoiled us for future sites. Although my kids are teenagers now, this would have been a wonderful option for younger kids, toddlers, or a baby. Nicely put together and very quiet. Although not in the heart of Kenmare, it's a very short 3 minute drive. Felt like you rented an entire 2 story condo. Wonderful Guinness pour in the bar. Very nice.
Patricia is a wonderful host! She made is feel at home from the minute we arrived, allowed us an early check-in, and gave us loads of good suggestions about what to see and where to eat in town. The room was very clean and comfortable. The location was very good—only a 1 km walk to the center of town. The breakfast was delicious. A great place to stay in Kenmare at a very reasonable price.
We were a family of five with three young children and stayed here for 3 nights. Fantastic house in kenmare town. A 2 minute walk from the town centre in a quiet location. The house was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The host was a pleasure to deal with and I would highly recommend this house to stay in if you’re planning a trip to kenmare.
location is perfect - a quiet street just off the center of Kenmare. the apartment was sunny and spacious for 2 - would be fine for a third as well. We didn’t meet the owner as entry was by code. a discount was offered in the restaurant below and the staff there was very helpful and friendly t plus the breakfasts and lunches were great!
The B and B was very tastefully furnished with a large bedroom in a perfect location. We loved the small town of Kenmare. Breakfast choice was amazing, cooked to order and far exceeds bigger hotels. Lucy and her staff work very hard and we felt very comfortable and would not consider staying anywhere else should we re-visit Kenmare.
Staff was wonderful, very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was delicious. Loved having options other than a traditional full Irish breakfast. Location was convenient for visiting Kenmare and driving the Ring of Kerry. Outdoor space by the river was cute and a nice oasis. Loved falling asleep to the sound of running water.
From first entry, met with very pleasant staff, beautiful decor and ambience, perfectly situated in Kenmare's lovely town. We didnt get the opportunity to eat here as we had pre arranged to meet with friends in town, alas - but menus looked super and catered for all. I would indeed revisit during the coming summer.
We stayed in the Brook Lane Hotel last week for two nights. The staff were fantastic, very welcoming, accommodating, efficient and very pleasant. Our room was lovely, very clean. We ate in the restaurant the first night and again it
was beautiful. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are traveling to Kenmare
Ashfield is a wonderful B&B. Mary the host is very helpful, friendly and great local knowledge. The location is great, the room was beautiful, superbly maintained, the breakfast was incredible. Kenmare is wonderful town to visit and a great place to start the Ring of Kerry.
The bedroom and bathroom were both very spacious and clean, as well as having ample parking for our auto. A very generous breakfast buffet as well as options to order from the breakfast menu. Just a brief walk to the center of Kenmare when taking the "shortcut" into town.
Location was perfect! Right in the center of downtown Kenmare. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our room was right above the pub, but we heard no noise at all from below. The bed was very comfortable.
We would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends
Great location with easy access to lovely town of kenmare and driveway leads right to Kerry Way hiking trails. Convenient for day trips to Ring of Kerry and Dingle Peninsula.
Plenty of sleeping and living space. For 8 family members. Good kitchen and laundry facilities.
Excellent location 5 mins walking distance from Kenmare town centre, with the warmest welcome from hosts. Room was spotless with very comfortable beds. Great breakfast and definitely my family's favourite B&B in Kerry. We will certainly be back!
Excellent space for a couple or small family. Fully equipped for self catering. Good quiet location and just a short drive to Kenmare town centre. Excellent host - quick communication. No reservations in recommending the property.
Right in the centre of town, so location is perfect. Room was very clean and at the back of the premises. We were lucky and got an on street park right outside the hotel.
The location of this B&B was ideal to walk the town. The location worked well for our plan to drive part of the Ring of Kerry, stay in Kenmare, and complete the next day.
Great location for touring the Ring of Kerry and very close to Kenmare which is a nice town without the crowds of Killarney. Patricia makes an incredible breakfast.
