Excellent communication before trip inc taking time and e mailing clarification of requested details. Check-in was smooth and as we wanted our 3 rooms close together the receptionist gave us a complimentary upgrade of one of the rooms to facilitate this request. We then used that larger room to gather in and enjoyed the setting sun. I liked that my bedroom was made up each day and fresh fluffy towels each day. I liked the south easterly orientation of my room as I could relax in the sunny room after breakfast reading my book listening to the birds singing. I liked the bedroom facilities which included an empty fridge for my drinks. A fan, touch screen heating system to individualise my own comfort levels and a smaller hot and cold fan system. Ice machines on corridor. Vending machines of snacks needed and all the other usual facilities like room service etc. The rooms are generously proportion with large bathrooms which were nicely tiled and included a bath as well as a large power shower with piping hot water. The buffet breakfast was marvelous with hot food, several types of breads mini muffins croissants pancakes vegetables meats eggs and museli yogurts juices with lovely staff here too.Nice outdoor seating areas especially the breakfast dining room. I had expected some noise from a flight path not too far away but this was not a problem. We had a lovely few days and were very happy with all aspects of our stay including value for money and we were well placed for shopping and visits into city centre.

Great location just off O’Connell Street. Handy to public transport, tour operator pickups and pubs and restaurants. Very nice restaurant on site for dinner. Full buffet breakfast.
Blooms Hotel is located in Dublin’s Temple Bar district, 150 metres from Trinity College and Dublin Castle. It has a traditional Irish pub, a nightclub and rooms with flat-screen TVs.
Great facilities locally. Major shopping but hotel is off the beaten track and quiet. Great ambience and facilities without leaving. Traffic congestion for going into the city at rush hours exceptionally bad. Cinemas, Olympic size pool etc all nearby.

Room price was too high for vacation travelers, yet lower then other similar facilities, and appears to be set for business travelers on expense accounts. Location is far from any sites of vacationers interest. However, I knew this when I booked and chose facility because we needed to extend our stay a few days, the price was lowest and facility was relatively close to airport.

Very disappointed to arrive back at hotel at 11pm following a concert to find that the bar was closed. After expressing our disappointment to the receptionist she arranged for us to have a drink in the foyer area. A lot of other guests arrived back after us and we’re in the same predicament. We were informed that the hotel was quiet and so they decided to close the bar early???

Blancherstow is a small and quite City less than half an hour from the City center of Dublin. There are many shopping centers and a plenty place for parking. Transportations to Dublin's city center are easy to access.
Everything about the castleknock hotel makes it a great holiday for family, the facilities, Rooms, hygiene, little extras are all excellent. It is safe and the staff are very attentive and professional, friendly and polite.
The only downside is that it is a little far from the city and the traffic can be problematic but the safety and security for families more than compensates for that. It also does not feel like a family hotel that is over run by smallies so parents/adults can really enjoy also.
Rooms very comfortable and a good size. Breakfast had good selection but pancake machine broken both mornings so children not impressed. Dinner only in bar but very good, a wider selection would have been nice. Our waiter Robbie was fantastic, and did a great job especially considering how busy he was. Very close to all the shopping in Blanchardstown, and only a short distance from Tayto Park.
The hotel was absolutely gorgeous, facilities top class and staff were so kind and helpful and always went the extra mile, we had some minor problems with room service but Peter explained the issue and very kindly offered us complimentary tea, everyone was clearly committed to great service, I really would like to stay there again soon!
We stayed here whilst visiting tayto park (15minutes drive away) and walked across to the shops at blanchardstown the following day. The breakfast was beautiful and not over crowded for a Sunday morning. The rooms were clean and had plenty of towels for a family of 4 to shower.
I liked all the nice small touches. A call on arrival to check the room was acceptable, chocolates on the bed, and nice bathroom accessories. The staff were very helpful and friendly, a good location if you don't want to be in central Dublin.
The staff were so good to our little toddler and us while we stayed , the location next to pheonix park and Dublin zoo , not too mention fort Lucan is fantastic, the pool facilities were excellent and the room was spotless
The hotel was lovely, reception and bar/breakfast staff friendly. The room was clean, tidy and well maintained. It was convenient for the shopping centre and a great base for visiting our relatives.
Hotel was great for the price we paid, especially for Dublin. Although you’re outside the city, there is a bus that brings you in outside the door. It was suitable for us as we had a car travelling.
The room was very large, great size bathroom with all the facilities required. Highly recommended, we were on the 8th floor which was a bonus looking out over Dublin. I will certainly be back.
everything! from the second we walked in the staff were unbelievable. all smiling and very welcoming!
hard to believe the same company at Dublin airport has such low standards
Fantastic spa hotel for a little luxury. Really nice pool area, though a little too hot to just relax on the side. Great bar and restaurant options. Comfortable room.
