I had a great experience staying out there where I got a room very quiet, not only in my shared room but also around there.
Very recommended for solo travellers and more.
Hi tech Wi Fi connection (some disruption when you're into the lift).
I recommend put some labels at the door to advise workers if you want to enter or not at this moment to avoid bothering people who probably are sleeping at the time to clean the room.

Nice place to stay if you want to move from one touristic place to another. Big city so you need to be careful after 5:30 pm. However there is a lot of art places, nice museums and good places to do some shopping.
Avoid Vicentino and the 7th after 4:00 pm

Absolutely loved the Gold Museum and the Botero Museum.
Absolutely loved the Gold Museum and the Botero Museum. Both were outstanding. The National Museum was slightly disappointing on the pre Columbian material after visiting the Gold Museum. Monserrate worth a visit on the hill as the views are spectacular. Try to take the cable car as the funicular was a bit claustrophobic. But tickets in advance. If you walk up or down the hill make sure you have good shoes to walk in
It was a good city to walk around. La Candelaria is a nice area and I wish I had time for a walking tour there. The graffiti in Bogota is spectacular and again with more time I would have done another tour. Some of the craft beer is excellent and there is a lot of it.
Be careful at dusk and at night especially if alone. You can feel a little isolated at times and there is some aggressive begging .
Overall an excellent city to visit for a few days.

Bogota is a large and interesting city with no shortage of places to visit beyond the well-known galleries and museums. While many people have some English, particularly those under 30 or working in hotels or better quality restaurants, having some Spanish is very helpful or use a translating app. To get around I found Ubers quite inexpensive and readily available, but allow plenty of time for travel as Bogota's traffic is notoriously heavy. Several locals warned me not to use the Transmillenio bus system for fear of robbery and its complexity. There are no trains. I stayed in the northern suburbs (Calle 100) which is more middle class and is said to be safer than the central city area. It's an interesting area to walk around and there are a number of large pleasant parks and well-priced good restaurants and shopping centres. The Parque de Chico - Mercedes Hacienda - with its lovely heritage house and the nearby (short walk) home and studio of Enrique Grau who died in 2004 are recommended. A high level of personal security awareness is essential - eg secure wallets, leave your passport at the hotel but carry some photo identification such as a driver's licence as many museums etc require it for admission. Acceptance of of debit/credit cards is far from universal so carry Colombian Pesos in small notes.

Gastronomy is very good check if is water restrictions go where is a lot of people visit museums a lot to do go to monserrate don't take yellow cabs and check the same rate when you stay I stay at Dann and over chargue 20 dolars more but in general if you like mountains food museums
Bogota captures unique Columbian culture beautifully, especially closer to La Candelaria. As you head north from there it will be cleaner and more modern especially near Zona T.
The walk from Centro Industrial area (Santa Fe) to La Candelaria is fun with many street vendors offering food and new/used items. Lots of ATMs and foreign exchange location along the way, you will need COP but established business take credit card sometimes with a fee.
The language is all Spanish, our translator app came in handy would recommend you install one for your trip if needed.
The weather is cool as city at 8k feet elevation. We visited in April with daytime highs in 60s but carry a light jacket as sun sets and temps drop to 50s. Interestingly, not many people in shorts, you will stand it if you where them.
Taxis everywhere, but we used Uber which worked really well and cheap maybe $8 for a 25min ride. Dollar strong vs COP, you can get a decent meal from $4 for meal of day style to $20 for a higher end fish place. Street food $1 hamburger and $2 chicken/beef stick.
Museums are great, lots of over 60 free or just a few bucks to see Bontero and Picasso originals.
We felt very safe even down in La Candelaria, never saw pickpocketing or theft but just a few requests for money during day and early evening. Was not out late evening so not sure about then.

I did visit a lot and managed to see a lot for the first time, being this was the 5 time in Bogota.
Very safe, with lots of polis all around. and very clean.
Everyone was very helpful.
Just google must-see in Bogota, and go. !!
This hostel was the closest to a hotel experience as I am ever going to get in a dorm.
Comfortable beds. Wonderful communal area. Table tennis, pool, cinema room, restaurant. Warm showers, great gym and the best rooftop view of Bogota. The daily activities were great.
Safety in this hostel is paramount. You need a keycard to get into the building, into the lifts and into your rooms.
On my first night they hosted a Bogota Survival Guide talk in which they gave us great advice on staying safe in Bogota and generally Colombia.
The hotel was perfect for a layover in Bogota for an early morning flight. The hotel is excellent at communicating with clients before check-in regarding their free airport shuttle and any special needs for a stay. I checked in at 9:30pm, checked out at 4am and took a 4:30 shuttle to the airport for my 6:15 flight. Staff was pleasant and helpful. The hotel restaurant, bar and small convenience store had everything I needed. This was my second stay at Habitel. Each stay was exactly what my travels required.
Location is very good, about 10-15 min walk to Plaza Bolivar, a bit less for the Gold Museum.Comfy bed, great city views, attentive staff, esp Srta Valentina at reception who speaks English ( the only one!) and is 100% there to help you. Also very helpful is Srta Maria at the dining room. Hot coffee in the lobby 24/7, pity they sweeten it. At breakfast they offer, in addition to ( cold!) eggs, Colombian dishes, varying from day to day.Coffee, "aromatica" and juice are pretty good.Room rates are fair value.
I really loved the facilites of the hotel, the rooms were excelently equipped, the personal served With excellence. The food of the restaurant was so delicious and the price was very good. Also I need to remark the attention of the reception team, of the restaurant team añd of the room maintnance. Finally I algo need to mention that the hotel is very well located in Bogota. I give a 100/100 to the hotel. I Will stay there again this week. I recomend this hotel to everybody visiting Bogota.
The colonial interior looks like a museum. 2-floor apartments within an impressive condominium with several decorated hallways, living rooms ad patio richly decorated in old times. Very pleasant and helpful employees. In the middle of Bogotá's historic centre: the Botero Museum and central Bolivar Square are within 100 metres. At night it is relatively calm. The breakfast experience at the bakery next door brings you in contact with the normal Colombian able to choose from 4 meal.s
This is definitely the best experience I had in Colombia. The location is excellent - I love the neighborhood (el chico). so tranquil, so elegant and so polish. The staff is so friendly and provides me with anything I needed. The room is so comfy and I especially enjoyed the view from my window. Everything is so clean in this property - the room, the bathroom and the common area. I really love staying here, and would definitely come back to stay if I visit Bogota again.
Ibis Marly is brand new and it shows. The main advantage: double-paned windows that actually keep you both warm and keep out the noise, which is often a problem in Bogota hotels. Rooms are small but comfortable and clean. Breakfast buffet is good, location is close to the main areas of the Chapinero district. And with the M86/X86 bus lines it has direct connections to the airport
The staff is exceptional, always taking care of you and helping you with everything you need.
The restaurant area which is the lobby as well has a great view of the city. It also has a balcony where you can sit and eat and enjoy the gorgeous view of Bogotá and its mountains.
It is also super close to to airport, like a 7min drive
Affordable and comfortable, great hotel overall.
I think the easy neighbourhood of Mika suits is a perfect way to start your journey in Bogota and Colombia. Totally safe for walking to a lot of restaurants nearby. And the bed is very comfortable, and the bathroom perfect for me.
The staff is very helpful. I like when the staff is friendly towards each other and seems to have a nice time. It makes a very good atmosphere.
Such a lovely place to stay! Martín, Diego and all the staff were wonderful... So hospitable and welcoming. They attended to every need and question we had, and were great with my young daughter too. I would 100% recommend this adorable hostel to anyone coming to Bogotá wanting a boutique experience. Their cafe is the best and the accommodations are beautiful.
Tequendama Suites and Hotel is located conveniently close to the same road that connects the airport with the old center of Bogotá. This makes it well suited for the exploration of those neighbours. The room itself was incredibly spacious and well designed. It has everything we could wish for. Additionally, the breakfast buffet was delicious and very varied.
The staff was super friendly and helpful at all times. We arrived at 1am from the airport with two exhausted little kids and they helped us get to the room quickly. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. The breakfast was very good. A really good hotel with great location when traveling to and from Bogota.
The location is very good. Close to Museo Nacional de Colombia, 10 min walking. 30 min walking to Plaza de Bolívar. A lot of police around, feel like safe area. All hotel staffs were nice and helpful. The Breakfast buffet was very good. Have two dinners in the hotel restaurant, both were very tasty.
I stayed at this hotel to spend the night between flights.
Located in a nice area, midway from the airport and downtown Bogotá.
Basic, but nice room decor.
Free shuttle to the airport (every hour, though), around 15 min from/to the airport without traffic.
Fast check-in and check-out.
The Hotel and staff was very nice. Location from downtown a little far, but it's easy to get around by uber.
Great value for the money. My wife found the mattress slightly uncomfortable. Anyhow we had a great stay and enjoyed Colombia and we recommend this place. Thank you
My wife and I were visiting friends and wanted something a little more romantic with a little sexy slant and it was great, we really liked it, kind of a Bogota honeymoon. Hotel staff were of course totally amazing (Colombian service is legendary!) Breakfast was awesome!
Shuttle transfer service from Bogota Airport to the hotel was excellent. Hotel helped to arrange transport to Sogamoso in Boyaca which was very convenient and welcome. Adequate breakfast. Very helpful and courteous staff in all areas. Luggage storage was available.
I liked the location. The hotel is located in a safe area of Bogota namely barrio Modelia. A lot of restaurants and other shops are nearby and on walking distance. There is also a Comercial Centre Hayuelos. Its also nearby the El Dorado airport.
This hotel has by far the best value for money of all the hotels near parque 93 although breakfast is a little simple but its good enough. It has a gym and the best sauna i have encountered thusfar here in bogota !!!!
